Email Overview
Connect sends transactional email, such as receipts and password resets, and marketing email with unsubscribe handling built in.
Getting started
Section titled “Getting started”- Test for free. Before your workspace is live, send from our shared test sender to up to 5 of your own addresses. See Testing Email.
- Add your sending domain. Once your workspace is live, add your domain and publish its DNS records. See Sending Domains.
- Send. Send email from any address on your verified domain. See Send Email.
Using the API
Section titled “Using the API”Email is part of Connect API v2, which covers the base URL, authentication, errors and pagination. Every endpoint is listed in the API reference.
Email kinds
Section titled “Email kinds”Every email has a kind, which tells Connect why you are sending it:

Marketing email is sent on its own stream, separate from your other email, and always carries an unsubscribe link. See Email Compliance.
