Testing Email

You can build and test your email integration before your workspace is live, and before you have a sending domain, using our shared test sender:

onboarding@mail.connect.ms

Email from the test sender shows your workspace name as the sender name.

How it works

1. Add a test recipient, such as your own email address. We email it a confirmation link.
2. Open the link and confirm the address.
3. Send email with sender set to onboarding@mail.connect.ms and recipient set to your confirmed address.

Limits

• You can add up to 5 test recipients.
• The test sender only sends to confirmed test recipients.
• Each workspace can send up to 50 emails a day from the test sender.
• Email from the test sender can’t be scheduled.

The test sender is still available after you go live, which is useful while you wait for your own domain to verify.

Managing test recipients

• POST /v2/email/test-recipients adds a test recipient and emails it a confirmation link. verified is false until the link is used. You get a 409 if the address is already a test recipient, or you already have 5.
• GET /v2/email/test-recipients lists all of your test recipients in one page.
• DELETE /v2/email/test-recipients/{id} removes one.
