Deliverability
Deliverability is how much of your email reaches the people you send it to. Inboxes judge you mostly on two numbers: how often your email bounces, and how often recipients mark it as spam.
What we watch
Section titled “What we watch”We check every workspace’s last 7 days of email each hour. If a workspace has sent at least 50 emails and either of these limits is passed, our team will get in touch:
| Rate | Limit | How it’s worked out |
|---|---|---|
| Bounce rate | 4% | Hard bounces ÷ emails sent |
| Complaint rate | 0.1% | Spam complaints ÷ emails delivered |
Nothing is paused automatically.
Checking your rates
Section titled “Checking your rates”GET /v2/reports/email-deliverability reports your email over the last 7 or 30 days, in total, by kind and by day. The rates are fractions, so 0.04 is 4%:
| Rate | How it’s worked out |
|---|---|
deliveryRate | Delivered ÷ (delivered + hard bounced) |
bounceRate | Hard bounced ÷ sent |
complaintRate | Complaints ÷ delivered |
A rate is null when there is nothing to measure.
